Bill: Repairing the Economy

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Conservative Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4516

Description[?]:

Although we're on the same side of the LDP and the now dissolved New Wave on the privatization debate, we must recommend a return to the status quo in order to fix the now broken economy and open the way for proper privatization in the areas that it's needed. We'd also like to recognize our role in this and apologize for our shortsighted voting.

If passed, this bill reverse any privatization bills passed since 4500 by the LDP, New Wave, and NCP.

MessageThe SP has supported limited privatization in the past when we privatized KalNaMoCo. If done properly, we can ensure that Kalistan retains its strategic needs, people do not starve to death, and those things which belong in the private sector correctly, should get there.

MessageThe current framework is terrible. It's a bad economy caused by carelessly privatizing public industries without any plan to move public properties to private owners. It's impossible to fix it without going back to system that works then improving it from there.

MessageIf we can’t repair the economy with the LDP in power and the Majority, then we shall simply take both from them.
