| Altamira is constituted as an independent federal republic and recognizes all the peoples that make it up as cultural and historical nations, and this constitution also recognizes its right to self-determination. Altamira will become de facto after the approval of this constitution in a democratic and social state, which establishes as the main foundations the freedom of all its peoples and territories, the minimum social rights such as light, water, education, health, housing, security and food. For this, the government will have the ownership of companies specialized in these services, and its private commercialization will be prohibited, since it will be considered as trading with the basic rights and the right to life. The state will recognize the right to self-determination of all its peoples and those of the rest of the planet. The main local authority will be an assembly to which all citizens will have the right to attend and will be the one to make the decisions, since the local administration (town councils, councils, provincial and state governments ...) will be merely managers of the recourses and all decisions will be subject to the popular will. This constitution is based on the social contract, and recognizes the right of all its inhabitants to reveal themselves against this constitution and the established system. This constitution can only be abolished or measured with the unanimity of the Assembly. The constitution of the Federal Republic of Altamira will comply at all times with the human rights drafted by the International Court (http://classic.particracy.net/vieworganization.php?organizationid=5138). This constitution recognizes the previous Constitution as a basis for institutional and political organization, although in this constitution, new social and civil rights are recognized that must also be respected. |
