A RESOLUTION; - Confirming that the Chamber of Deputies denounces the recent assassination attempt on Parti Démocratique de Centre-Droit leader Delphine Bucher (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5324&p=145931#p145931), and confirming that the attempt constitutes an act of terror. - Confirming that the Chamber of Deputies passes its condolences to the families of Emmanuel Marchant and Elise Hollande, who tragically lost their lives. - Confirming that the Chamber of Deputies reaffirms the right to free speech, political association, and the right to protest. - Confirming that the Government affirms that the terrorist's association with the Parti Socialiste does not reflect the position of the Government as a whole, and that the terrorist deserves the strongest condemnation. |

Message | OOC: Hey, didn't mean to upset you. Was just roleplaying - would also say that nowhere did I say that the terrorist acted on the direction of your party - merely that he was active member of it. This could easily happen in real life, and someone could act without the knowledge of consent of their party (e.g. the Democrat who shot Republican lawmakers in America). Thought you might have appreciated the RP possibilities - didn't mean to offend. |
