Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 01:58:15, January 30, 2019 CET | From | New Progressive Party of Pontesi | To | Debating the A Brighter Today, A Safer Tomorrow |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We will not support this legislation. Among much of the rest of the bill that we don't agree with, this also includes legalizing slavery which is something that our party is vehemently against. There are parts of the bill we wouldn't mind discussing in separate legislation like the airport policy, repealing the ban on crossdressing, encouragement of nuclear power, the pharmaceutical drugs policy proposed, and the change in policy on sexual content on broadcast television. However, there are quite a few of proposals in this bill that essentially poisons it and we will be voting against it. Armen Istamboulian, NPPoP Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Considering our ancient traditions encompass slavery, and it existed during a time when our city-states were at their most powerful, I see no reason for it to be taboo or not be considered for revival. Eunomia Augendus Minister of Internal Affairs |
