Bill: Tougher Prisons Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ducal Delegation
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2204
Description[?]:
Prisoners should be compelled to work during their time in imprisonment. Idleness makes inmates restless and prisons harder to manage. Work will improve the mental and physical health of the inmates, and make them more employable by the time they are released. Compulsory work will also act as a deterrent to future criminals.
