Breaking news -

President Kountoura and Prime Minister Kollia-Tsaroucha are to step down from their respective roles by the next election. They are stepping down from their party roles immediately to allow their successors to be chosen in good time however they will remain in their respective roles until after the next election.

This will be the first set of contests for these roles since the party's inception in which a handful of trade union members chose the leader and president of SYRIZA.

The election will be open to party members as well as all registered trade union activists in Kalopia and will follow the AV voting system.
