Whereas, LGBTQ+ individuals continue to serve in silence in our armed forces,
Whereas, these individuals sacrifice their lives each and every day in defense of these United States,
Whereas, these indivuals deserve our acknowledgement and respect, not oppression and hate,

Therefore, be it reseolved by Congress here assembled:
1. Congress acknowledges and sincerely thanks, on behalf of the People, the sacrifices LGBTQ+ servicemembers make.
2. The Clerk is hereby ordered to send a copy of this resolution to each military base in service to these United States.
