| As the current financial year came to an end. Statistics shown that the ‘sales tax’ burden has been thrown onto our middle and lower class people of society, causing increasing levels of poverty, homelessness and financial difficulty. As currently, essential goods are taxed at a VAT rate of 27% and 37% for luxury goods. Corporations have paid 0% tax leaving the working people of our society suffer. We need to act to this now to assure that all workers are paid well in all jobs regardless of the sector or level of job. We need to enforce a corporate tax bill of 9% on all businesses in the region, to assure everyone is paying their fair share of tax. We are for furthering equality and citizens rights indefinitely, so if it’s to tighten the inequality gap between the rich and poor. That’s what our party will do, ensure that the poor benefit in society! |
