Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4536
Description[?]:
The Social Democratic Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the United Solentian Republic. The National Solentian Healthcare Act is the Solentian Social Democratic Party’s central legislative work for this election cycle, and it is going to remain so until it’s impliment. Right now, Solentia protects our sick and helpless less than country near us. There are theocracies who do not even believe in modern healthcare that fund their healthcare better than us. We will be establishing a national system guaranteeing private insurance. There will be competing private and public hospitals. There will be reforms in how we deal with seniors and prescriptions. Also we are starting a public pension plan to protect our elderly and just make sure our citizens enjoy the end of their lives with dignity. It will be funded via a new corporate tax and other department cuts, but we also believe that having a society of healthy people will build the economy to begin with. We think the benefits here pay for themselves. This legislation will save lives and we will keep proposing it until we can get it passed. |

Message | We do not have confidence that the finance minister minister is going to do their constitutional requirement in readjusting the budget to reflect congressional legislation so we are declaring this an emergency and insisting that congress votes to fund the program themselves. There is nothing stopping congress from doing this. IRL: we ask that you indicate “non role play comments” by putting IRL in front of it. I will refer you to moderation if you do not do so. You clearly do not have any clue how political role play works. |
