| When Dundorf's government changed hands from brief capitalistic state to a growing socialist republic under the guiding ideology of Metzism, many aspects of the government's structure, namely its offices, were reshuffled, save for the various subordinate agencies of the Innenministerium (Ministry of Internal Affairs). Since then, their respective heads have gradually been restructuring their apparatus and functions. However, rather than keep said subordinate agencies and run the risk of increasing bureaucracy, we have decided to merge the agencies into one large agency that shall be under the direct oversight of the Innenministerium, and shall procure monthly classified reports to the Council of Ministers. This legislation also outlines some of its operations, shown below. ARTICLE I— Effective immediately after the passage of this bill, all subordinate agencies under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs tasked with foreign intelligence, counter-intelligence, and tasked with the continued adherence to the Nationaler Sicherheitsgesetz (National Security Law) shall brought under the jurisdiction of the newly-formed Staatssicherheitsbüro (State Security Bureau). ARTICLE II— The SSB shall be subject to both domestic and foreign legislation regarding Internal Affairs. ARTICLE III— Main activities that the SSB shall be tasked with upon the passage of this bill hereby include: -Foreign Intelligence. -Counter-Intelligence. -Upholding of the National Sicherheitsgesetz. -Limiting and containing instability within the nation. ARTICLE IV— Auxiliary activities that the SSB shall be tasked with upon the passage of this bill include: -Overseeing the command structure of the Dundorfische Grenztruppen and ensuring their efficiency in operation; Upon the passage of this bill, the Dundorfische Grenztruppen shall be under the direct administration of the Staatssicherheitsbüro and shall be tasked with the defense of the nation's borders and customs protocols. -Guarding the leadership of the ruling parties of the Metzistische Republik Dundorf, namely their given Central Committees and the Dundorfian Government. -Guarding the Council of Ministers, along with the office of Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of State. -Overseeing organization and ensuring of government communications. |
