A bill to reduce the size of our military as such that we be able to defend ourselves should the need arise, to provide assistance or maintain civil order in times of emergency, but not a force that is powerful enough to invade, engage in warfare or otherwise begin aggressive relationships with other states without due cause. We will maintain an intelligence agency but it will be restricted to operate for the protection of our homeland and citizens, rather than outright targeting a foreign state. Message | This bill does not remove the ability for our nation to defend itself from attack, indeed, its goal is to refocus the armed forces so that its main goal is to repel enemy forces in the event that it may be needed. We have no wish for our nation to lose its independence any more than your party. W. Bowman. Leader of the Humanist Party. |

Message | If your want to ensure the Independence of your Country than you must make it as potentially expensive as possible for an enemy to attack Solentia. Our enemies must know: We will defend our Country to the last Resort. Opposition leader |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
