MessageAnd doesn't a state-owned agency only restrict it to space officials working for the government whereas multiple companies offer more opportunity?

MessageLet other countries pay ridiculous sums to discover that one planet is indeed unihabited. WE need to spend our money on education and infrastructure, peace and in tax cuts.

MessageWe are not deceiding on what sums are to be spent, but on the matter of what. To make the rich richer or for the good of the entire population

MessageThis makes the rich richer how? There is no technology yet to mine asteroids or anything and recreational trips to space are still far away. This is private exploration funded by private companies who wish to expand human knowledge. And there are plenty of individuals who will do that despite your prejudices.

MessageAnd you misinterpret private companies as corporations which is a complete fallacy that private = corporate.

MessageDo you actually belive that any private corporations would spend money without expecting a profit. "Private companies that wishes to expand human knowledge"; what a bad joke.

MessagePrivate companies have developed cures to diseases. Privately run colleges have produced innumerable works of history, science, or any other topic you'd like to discuss. Throw away your blinding superstitions and prejudices and ask yourself what they're exactly stealing from you? And what exactly would any private company in space have to gain besides knowledge?

MessagePrivate companies have developed cures to diseases, for the sake of profit not humanity.

"And what exactly would any private company in space have to gain besides knowledge?", if so we don't have a working space program.

Private companies are hierarchies they steal the power from their employees and give it to some clown.
