Details
Submitted by[?]: Faschistische Union
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4546
Description[?]:
According to the Oppositions Rights Act (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=584012) the BDL calls for the Establishment of a committe of inquiery to establish the following suspicions: 1.) The government illegally employed women full-time when it is only allowed to employ them part-time. Does the Head of Government (Martha Bierhoff) and several other Ministers work only part-time? We doubt that this is possible. |

Message | Our female Ministers stood for their seats and were elected in defiance of such an archaic law. We are working to overturn this law for all the women of our nation. W. Bowman. Leader of the Humanist Party. |

Message | So the Party just confirmed they were acting against the law? Thank you. We think the majority of this chamber does not agree with this. |

Message | We confirmed nothing of the sort. Our Ministers work in full compliance with the law, though this has required an increase in spending to hire assistance. W. Bowman. Leader of the Humanist Party. |

Message | The word defiance is pretty clear and the Job of a head of government or Minister can surely not be done part-time. |

Message | We do defy it, we are actively working to remove this law. This is not to say we do not follow the current law, we simply work to change it. To misunderstand such a simple statement is either wilful or concerning. W. Bowman. Leader of the Humanist Party. |

Message | The Progressive Party is very clear about the meaning of the word "defy", according to the dictionary it means "to refuse to obey a law, a rule, etc." They also want to sell us the idea that the work of a Minister can be done part-time. If this is true will ask the Senat to put a vote of confidence ahead for the reason that the femal Ministers are not fulfilling their duty properly. Either way it is scandalous. Message | And this from a Party that Claims: "The Humanist Party strives to involve a humanistic approach to politics" We doubt it is humanistic to break your own laws or to deceive the taxpayer into paying for half-time Ministers. Opposition leader |
Date | 10:19:48, March 15, 2019 CET | From | Humanist Party | To | Debating the Investigation Committee: Women in government |
Message | Who is deceiving anyone? Funding goes into hiring assistance so that we can continue to work efficiently without violating a current (and hopefully soon redundant) law, our Ministers are paid in accordance with their work time. Your assumption of our guilt is perhaps more telling of your party than of ours. W. Bowman. Leader of the Humanist Party. |

Message | The HP just coneded that assistance is doing the work of an elected Minister which was elected by the People and not the democratically elected head of government and Minister!? These assistance do not have the right to do the work of a Minister, because they were not authoriazed by the Senat. Yet another utter disregard to parliament. If the Humanist Party has nothing to hide then please let us have this Investigation committee and I am sure if the Humanist Party has nothing to hide they will surely agree to set the committee in the Spirit of a Humanist Approach to politics. Message | We can assure you that any work carried out by assistants are at the direction and request of the Ministers. We consider these actions to be nothing more than the attempt to cause as much disruption and chaos as possible in order to slow down the work of this coalition, we see no valid claims being made and refuse to allow such a waste of time and money to be carried out. W. Bowman. Leader of the Humanist Party. |

Message | Article 10 of our constitution says the folloiwng: "Their aim must be to make the Government responsible, accountable and transparent. (2) The opposition parties shall have the right to oppose the elected Government and to question the Governments conduct of public business." Why is a Party with a Humanist Approach calling upholding the law "disruption and chaos"? Doesn't seem awfully humanistic. Opposition leader First Soldier Freiherr Xaver zu Hintermooser |

Random quote: "Thousands of Zardic soldiers were sacrificed so that the Zardic government could gain control of a few buildings and Theodoro could pretend to be Augustus the Great. This is the kind of jingoistic ideology Zardugal would bring to the Security Council. They will throw countless lives away in pursuit of former glory." - Prince Akhaias, former Coburan royal |
