Bill: Programme of the Trigunian Socialist Movement

Details

Submitted by[?]: Front Antikapitalisticheskikh Levykh

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4547

Description[?]:

We are socialists. For us, socialism is not something of the past, but the natural conclusion of the ideas of democracy, and is in the fact the only ideology compatible with the ideas of democracy. Capitalism is a rigidly hierarchical society, based on economic classes and stratification, and is in direct contradiction with the ideas of equality and liberty that democracy espouses. Capitalism only allows democracy insofar capital is not challenged by the masses rearing for freedom. Only socialism and democracy can coexist, and they need each other in order to do so successfully. Comrade Kaminski said "socialism needs democracy like the human body needs oxygen". The TSM fully supports this notion.

Random fact: Voters have an extra appreciation for bills that actually get passed, so if you want to maximally take profit from your votes, make sure you compromise with others.

Random quote: "In any country there must be people who have to die. They are the sacrifices any nation has to make to achieve law and order." - Idi Amin
