| Mr. Speaker, Every good Luthorian opposes the self-declared emperor, the pretender Hunter Prater. We can discuss the merits of a republic or restoring a claimant with an actual claim to the throne later, but this joke of a monarch must go immediately. For this, we have proposed the establishment of a Regency Council, the members of which shall act as head of state until Luthori's future form of government is decided upon. | Message | Mr. Speaker I see that I am called into Question! If the people have an issue with me being the monarch why did the Parties that hold the Majority of the Seats place me on the Throne? And before you say that the people did not place me there you must remember that a Party has seats based on how many people vote for the party. So that Party may represent the wants and needs of the people that put them in office. I was voted in by this Diet to be the New Emperor after the Old Imperial Line crumbled. If you have an Issue with me then take it up with me do not slander my name and expect me to sit Idle. I have served this nation to the Best of my ability and that is why the Party I lead holds the Majority of the Seats of this Diet. I have little to now Power and I have not interfered with the workings of the Diet at all. If the Diet has voted and passed something I have not moved to crush it I voice my opinion but other then that let it go and have done nothing further. I have let the Head of Government and Cabinet work with full autonomy and have not tried to force my will on this nation. I stepped in when I was asked and served the People of this nation. This bill is a front to ether make this nation a Republic which failed and that is why I had to step in. Or to Place someone else in the Monarchy position. I pray the Members of this Diet a Respected Establishment used to uphold the values of the Empire vote against this bill. The switch of Monarchy will cause chaos and that is not what this Diet should be used for. | Message | Mr. Speaker, This pretender was placed on the throne because for some reason known only to God the White Rose decided he was a suitable claimant. He was placed on the throne at a time when many seats in the Diet were vacant. The people, of course, backed him so much that at the following election his party went from holding 47% of seats in the Diet to holding less than a quarter. The monarchy did not crumble. The House of Hohenfels-Casimir were usurpers. They were rightfully kicked off the throne and replaced with a Holy Commonwealth, the Civitatis Sancta Luthoriae, a compromise between republicans and monarchists. It did not fail. You were elected and proved to be a terrible Lord President. You were then given the throne, and proved to be an even worse monarch. Perhaps you genuinely believe this will cause chaos. It certainly will not. It will end the chaotic situation we have been in for decades. Luthori, a once great nation, has fallen to be what it is now. You have chosen to isolate this country from foreign affairs. I now call upon the Chancellor and his party, the White Rose, to vote with us - to vote with the people. | Message | Mr. Speaker, One must make it clear that in order to reside in a true democracy, aforementioned democracy must lay credence to diversity whilst remaining secular. It has to be said that an imperial monarch achieves neither. We must move beyond the days of empire permanently, and dethroning Hunter Prater will help us on that path. However, a regency council does not solve this issue. We are left with a regency council, when an elected president would do the job splendidly well.
