Description[?]:
The health and well-being of our citizens is of the upmost importance and must be considered carefully. We urge the senate to consider the founding of a national health service so that all may benefit from good quality care in their times of need. We propose the following; 1.) The founding of a nationwide healthcare system funded via the taxation of income. 2.) A board of directors made up of highly qualified doctors in various fields to ensure the system is working in the best interests of our people. 3.) The introduction of a fair prescription plan in which the government pays for all prescriptions for any citizen under the age of 16 and over the age of 65, the costs of prescriptions may also be half paid or entirely paid by the state if a citizen does not have the funds available for required medication. 4.) A nationwide leaflet delivery plan so that each citizen may understand the new system, its uses and what is it not to be used for. 5.) The introduction of laws that make it a criminal offence to commit fraud against this service by misinforming the local government of your income or state of disability. We believe this bill is in the best interests of our citizens and we urge the senate to vote in favour. |
