Bill: Recycling

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Democrat League

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2206

Description[?]:

We feel that our citizens should not be forced to recycle, merely encouraged. Mandatory recycling is a costly business for the government and although our citizens should see that recycling is a positive thing, they should decide for themselves if they wish to participate. Industries however do have to be regulated, as they pose major ecological risks if left unchecked.

MessageWe feel that we have had forced recycling for a long time and this law will not change the behavior of most citizens. They have learned the benefits and have gotten into the habit of recycling and thus no longer need to be forced to recycle.
