Description[?]:
Education is essential to an effective democracy, as only an informed people can make a valuable choice at the polls. I know that the last two articles may be sensitive issues. Consider these two facts: 1. Studies show that beating children has adverse effects on the development of their psychologies. 2. Children given sexual education and taught about contraception are statistically far, far less likely to have unprotected sex, which not only lowers the number of children put up for adoption and abortion rates, but lowers crime, as less children born from poor families (who are more likely to grow up to be criminals) are born. |
