Considering the economical and social effects of the previous pro-capitalist, liberal, fascist or other such right-wing parties, how the situation was only made better through the hard work of the Jakanian people under the Socialist government, how reversing their hard work would be a betrayal to the people and also considering following such ideas, policies, and ideologies to their natural and inevitable results/conclusions would be considered illegal in the manner that the Progressive Anarchist Platform understands it, how it's previous proposal proved this by showing the actual face of the right-wing organizations, how much did these organizations and ideologies (especially the Motherland Protection Front) harmed our country and resulted in the death of many of our citizens, inspired by the similar laws from the other leftist states (such as but not limited to Implementation of the Nationaler Sicherheitsgesetz in our ally state of Metzistische Republik Dundorf (Metzist Republic of Dundorf)), we decided to repropose The Sentinel Act that outlaws the establishment of such parties. Outlined in several articles which include: ARTICLE I— Effective immediately, all nationalist, monarchist, conservative, capitalist, and fascist movements shall be stripped of their allowance to form a political association or party within the national legislature. ARTICLE II— In accordance with Article I, subscribers to said ideologies are hereby forbidden to organize public campaigns, even if they are campaigning independently. ARTICLE III— Upon the passage of this law, provisions will be made available to the nation's law enforcement to better apprehend such matters in the nature of any of the above articles being violated. Such provisions include, but are not limited to: -Whether a local, state, or federal law enforcement institution, has probable cause that either a politician or private citizen has expressed such views in public or on social media, a warrant must be obtained before further action. -Upon acquisition of said warrant, and probable cause has been confirmed, the person(s) in question can be apprehended and subject to questioning, with penalties being given with the full extent of said articles outlined above. Article IV— Varying degrees of penalties shall be issued for the severity of the extent of extremism subscribed to or perpetrated by said person(s), with a maximum being 2 years in a federal penitentiary, depending on said aforementioned severity. *Extra explanation: The Sentinel Act does not in fact prohibit founding other parties. However, considering the current political system of the United Communes of Jakania and the Metamorphosis Act, establishing new parties is likely to be considered an alien (or at least a weird) act without any actual equivalent in the Jakanian politics. With this bill we also recommend and encourage those who are interested in establishing political parties to instead establish political movements, fronts and organizations or if they want factions of the Progressive Anarchist Platform. |
