The Luthori Federation Party have purposed a change to parliamentary system within Luthori. The proposal will remove the immunity for the members of the Diet. (I) Under this reform, the immunity for Members of the Diet will be taken away. (II) Members of the Diet will be expected to act like every other citizen of Luthori, and will not be given any special privileges. (III) With the reform of this law, Members of the Diet will be held to adhere to law both criminal and civil. Message | Mr Speaker, I’ll begin the proceedings, i’ll like to make change to the immunity that is given to the Diet. We largely disagree with any immunity for anyone, as everyone should act with our laws. The notion that anyone is above the law is beyond backwards. I can appreciate that the immunity can be removed under a vote, however votes and such takes time to do which could impact on any active investigation. If we expect our citizens to follow our laws we need to show them that we’re also practicing what we preech.
