Bill: Pension Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 4559

Description[?]:

As a developed country, we have a duty to our citizens to provide them with a liveable life after their work career.

People pay taxes during their career. They pay our wages! A viable pension is therefore the least that we can give back.

We, the progressives, therefore propose a double pension system. As a developed country, we have an obligation to our citizens to provide them with a liveable life after their work career.

People pay taxes during their career. They pay our wages! A viable pension is therefore the least that we can give back.

We, the progressives, therefore propose a double pension system. A compulsory part that is included in the employee's gross wage. And a voluntary part, or as we call it a 2nd pension pillar, where the employee pays a certain amount of his net wage to recuperate this the moment of his retirement.

For this 2nd pillar we count on private companies that are again very strictly regulated so we can assure our people's pension.
