Description[?]:
"This budget advances many areas of public services, with an increase in funding in all important governmental facilities. The Government believes that increasing spending in these areas will lead to economic opportunity, and growth. In line with the Ballistic Programme Act: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=598762 we have increased defence spending accordingly so we are more likely to reach nuclear capability by our targets outlined in this legislation. Healthcare was a key pledge made to the people by the DNP, and so properly funding 'Public Health Hobrazia' (formed through http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=598837 ) is key to its best functioning and key to it being a sustainable operation. For the first time in our tenure of power, the Supreme Government has increased funding for schools and education systems across hobrazia, so that we can further look to the future, knowing that we are producing the doctors, lawyers and politicians of the future. They need the best education we can give them and that is what these changes can help achieve. Increased to funding of science and technology mean a greater level of infrastructure. This is key to our nuclear weapons program and importantly, other areas of research. Increased funding for trade means economic opportunity, something we as a party and a government are committed to providing the people of hobrazia with. Tourism will also hopefully add to this economic opportunity. I hope my outline of this budget has been informative to the Supreme Council and that it meets the expectations of the Supreme Leader. Thank you" - Kokhta Machavariani Supreme Minister of Finance |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
