| We, the people of Cildania, have suffered under the incompetency of the monarchs. We have also suffered under the despotism of the autocrats the monarchy has used to maintain their status and power. Most of all we, the people of Cildania, have suffered due to the collapse of the government caused by the folly of the monarchs and the autocrats, and during the period of anarchy that followed. Thusly, the time is now to reform the nation of Cildania to meet the standards of the forty-sixth century. 1. The Assemblea Nazzjonali (National Assembly) officially declares that the Repubblika Irjali ta 'Cildania (Royal Republic of Cildania) is henceforth abolished. The territory formally encompassed by the Repubblika Irjali ta 'Cildania (Royal Republic of Cildania) shall be reconstituted as the Repubblika Sovrana ta 'Cildania (Sovereign Republic of Cildania), which shall have the same constitution, with changes explained below. 2. All land and property owned by the monarchy of Cildania (the House of Lavièra) shall be seized by the state. The monarchy (House of Lavièra) will be allowed to continue to live within its palaces and the monarchy (House of Lavièra) shall be given a salary by the state. However, the monarchy shall exercise its role in ceremony only, and shall have no political power. 3. A new flag shall be adopted, to further remove the ties of monarchy from Cildania. A. The flag shall have the following symbolism: a pale blue field(representing the sea surrounding Cildania); a black eight pointed star in the center (representing the history of Cildania); a white Cildanian Cross superimposed upon the black eight pointed star (representing the present of Cildania); all above a golden laurel crown (representing the glory of Cildania). 4. The following parts of the constitution shall be removed: A. Cildanian constitution Article 1 Section 2b B. Cildanian constitution Article 5 Section 2b 5. The state run newspaper “Repubblika Irjali ta 'Cildania (Royal Republic of Cildania) Daily” shall be renamed to “Servizz ta ’l-Aħbarijiet u l-Informazzjoni taċ-Ċildan (Cildanian News and Information Service)”. 6. All civilian shall be lowered to 10%. The tax on corporations shall be lowered to 30% 7. All parties shall be allowed paramilitaries. |
