It is absurd that in our apparently modern society we still allow employers to fire workers who strike and that we do not protect the health of our workers in the work place and that we do not make a provision for a minimum wage. Gentleman this must stop if we wish to help our country to prosperity we must protect our workers. In turn how ever we must regulate the unions which at the moment can go on strike with out holding a ballot of any sort. |

Old value:: Employers are free to fire workers who go on strike.
Current: Employers cannot fire workers who have gone on strike.
Proposed: Government approval is needed before strikers can be fired.

Proposal[?] to change Health and safety legislation for industry.
Old value:: There are no set health and safety regulations for industry.
Current: The government introduces and actively regulates health and safety legislation in all areas of industry.
Proposed: The government introduces and actively regulates health and safety legislation in all areas of industry.

Proposal[?] to change The nation's policy on minimum wage regulation.
Old value:: There is no provision for a minimum wage.
Current: There shall be a minimum wage at a level considered a "living wage," well above the poverty line for a full time worker.
Proposed: There shall be a minimum wage at a level that a single full time worker on it can adequately subsist.

Old value:: Trade unions are not required by law to hold a ballot before striking.
Current: Trade unions must by law hold a ballot of all members before going on strike, a majority of all members, regardless of if they vote or not must approve the strike action.
Proposed: Trade unions must by law hold a ballot of all members before going on strike, majority approval of those that vote is needed from its members.
