It is established by His Most Excellent Imperial Majesty Michele I, Emperor of Istalians, signed by the Council of Ministers, by the Prime Minister Imperial Secretary of State, and proposed for approval to the National Assembly of the Empire, that the Imperial Family, know as per Imperial Foundamental Law as House of Appiano De Borromei, is formed as below:

Head of the House is His Majesty the Emperor.

Are member of the House of Appiano De Borromei, Imperial Family:

His Imperial Majesty the Empress Consort Margherita;
Their Imperial Highness the Imperial Grand Princess Paola, Elisa and Ginevra;

Their Imperial Highness the Imperial Grand Princes Mattia, elder brother of the Emperor, and his wife Nadia, nee Carolani;
His Imperial Highness the Imperial Prince Alessandro;
Her Imperial Highness the Imperial Princess Carola and His Highness the Prince Consort Luca Florenti.

Their Imperial Highness the Imperial Princes Tommaso, younger brother of the Emperor, and his wife Laura, nee Marchetti Pamphilj;
Their Imperial Highness the Imperial Princes Chiara, Giulio and Adriano;

The mentioned members of the Imperial Family will maintain for life their Imperial Title unless otherwise stated by His Majesty the Emperor.
His Highness the Prince Consort Luca Florenti, however, will maintain his Title unless a divorce occours. The same title is adopted by a married consort of an Imperial Prince or Grand Prince who will maintain the Title unless a divorce occours. The same provisions apply for the Empress Consort and to the husband of a reigning Empress, which title is Imperial Grand Prince Consort.

The children of the Imperial Princes, outside the Emperor proper family, the Crown Imperial Family, can inherit only the title of Prince and enter by right into the Imperial Paria of Istalia. They receives the treatment of Serene Highness.

The children of the Imperial Grand Princes inherit the title of Imperial Princes and Imperial Grand Princes for the children of the designed heir to the Throne. Thy receive the treatment of Imperial Highness.

The Emperor, having heard the High Imperial Council, can decree the exit from the Imperial Family of one of his members and the revocation of all his Titles.
