| The case of the People of Dranland versus President of the Republic of Dranland Theta Mike, Operating Thetan VIII As the accused is the President of the Republic of Dranland, Parliament is required to vote to either acquit him or convict him by a simple majority. If he is convicted, he shall be subject to an impeachment hearing; if two-thirds of Parliament votes to impeach him, he is to leave office immediately and is barred from standing in any future elections. | Message | This is a preposterous notion which Theta Mike fully rejects. And you are in no position or authority to charge President Mike of anything. If parties agree that a trial should take place then so let it be. Until then, on behalf of Theta Mike himself, and Theta ARC/KRC (which fully rejects the nonsensical charges relating to the Scientology/Duvalier closing agreement), I dismiss this atrocity and add that we are already filing suit against Bloc Socialiste for libel and slander. | Message | The prosecution has called for Jean-Paul L'inglesou to testify regarding the affair. Here is his written statement, and a transcript of a conversation between Theta Mike and Renard Duvalier before the alleged meeting between Mike and L'inglesou: "Some time ago, I was instructed by Renard Duvalier to represent him at a meeting with an anonymous Theta delegate; upon meeting him, I knew him to be Theta Mike. Duvalier had authorised me to make a payment or series of payments of up to 750 million DRA. I was directed to the Fort Harrison Hotel in Scientia, where I met with Theta Mike to discuss the dismissal of several lawsuits brought by Scientologists against Renard. We agreed to settle the dispute by illegally transferring 515 million DRA to the Church of Scientology's Office of Special Affairs, listing the cause for the transaction as 'Services Rendered'. This transaction took place approximately thirteen hours after our meeting ended; lawsuits by the Church of Scientology and individual scientologists both within and out of the Theta ARC/KRC were all dropped within the next month." Mike: What now? Renard has been found guilty!? Duvalier: No, it was declared a mistrial. Mike: Then it [sic] must be retried! Duvalier: I will not be tried for the same crime twice. I have already reinstated my immunity from prosecution. Mike: If it was a mistrial then you can be retried. This is an attack on religious expression and religious freedom which will not go unnoticed by the people, and those outside of this great land. The Church of Scientology of Scientia is organising a Terra-wide human rights march where many peace-loving groups are taking part.
