| Message | Mr Speaker, what is this nonsense now? Political Monarch? We PRETEND by part of the government and the majority proof of this Political Monarchy established in Istalia. Michele Appiano De Borromei as been an hero of the Resistance against the Thallerist Revolution of 4546! He was a Squadron General of the Istalian Air Force, it was thank to him if the Armed Forces, failed divided during the Revolution, reunited and reorganized themself against the Julio von Thaller in cooperation of the civilian Resistance. His father gave his life for the liberty of our country too. And it was him that saved the provisional government from another fallen in the chaos and it was him that founded the Fifth Istalian Republic. It was him that led for more than 20 years our country through an impressive recovery from the ashes of the past. It was him that built our Militant Democracy, protected by all the threats to the democratic system of government. Only Michele Appiano De Borromei deserved to be honored in perpetuity of the highest office of our nation. Only him after all what he did for our country. But, the political past of His Majesty the Emperor, this is his the title and how we should refer to him, doesn't affect the Empire today. Emperor has no political power, it is enshrined into the Constitution. What can do the Emperor? It can presents laws? It can chose the Prime Minister and the Government? It can dismiss the Govenrments or the parliament? No at all! The executive powers rely in the hands of the Prime Minister and the Government and every possible act which could came from the Emperor MUST have the agreement of the Government first of all and then MUST be approved by the National Assembly. His Majesty has not political powers, this is the only true. He has less power also of every party puppet elected to represent us and that could just be nothing more than the outgoing of parties and lobbies agreements. A monarch will be never victim of political schermishes or agreements, a monarch will be never the compromises of this and that party, a monarch will be never subjected to the always changing moods of the masses, a monarch will be never a subdule politician ready to decive its electors with the power even of betray them! A monarch will be just this, a monarch, a symbol of the unity of the nation, a symbol of our people, a stable figure for the People and the State, to whom we will be always able to see, especially in the moments of uncertainty, and even when, perhaps, in search of hope and security, a figure that can fascinate the People, around which the People can gather in moments of joy as well as pain. We are sick of the falsehood of this Government! We can and we must of course to accept a republican propaganda, it is a legitimate position since it is not a risk to the democracy, but we cannot accept the falsehood!
