Bill: Commercial Fishing and Whaling Reform

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4582
Description[?]:
It is a moral outrage that such an abhorrent practice as commercial-scale whaling is still protected by Egalian law, in a time when our world's supply of untouched marine species continues to dwindle and each and every day more marine biodiversity is lost at the hands of unregulated corporations and poachers. Furthermore, allowing massive commercial fishing operations to take place without limit to the number of fish they are allowed to catch is simply overly dangerous and neglectful on the part of the government. We must take decisive action on behalf of all the wonderful whale and fish species in our waters, for we refuse to be complicit in their demise. |
