Bill: Freedom of Expression Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Libertarian Alcoholic Party II
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2207
Description[?]:
As supporters of the rights of Flag-burners and angry mobs, the LAP implores its associates to repeal "Civil Liberties Reform" which has made angry mobbing and flag burning impossible. Freedom of Speech and Association is at stake here! Today you can't burn a flag or start a riot, tomorrow you can't criticize the government or join a church worshipping strange gods! "When my truck crashed into a remote, icy ravine," protests flag delivery man Hank "Flagtrucker" Henderson, "my only source of fuel was the thousands of Rutanian flags I was hauling! Without burning the flag hundreds of times, I would surely not have survived my ordeal." Henderson also explains how flag desecration aided his plight in other ways. "I used those damn flags for everything," he said. "I made bedding from them, built traps for food and evenutally tore a few hundred up to make the rope ladder with which I climed down from the mountain range." |

Random fact: Before creating a party organisation, check to see whether there are any existing organisations which cover the same agenda. |
Random quote: As for rape, of course, that is a direct consequence of the capitalist system of oppression. Capitalism relies on fuelling division and resentment to sustain itself, and so it sets men against women, race against race and so on. Men rape women because they are being oppressed by capitalism, so they take it out on women. Under Communism, there will be no rape, because there will be a full and natural harmony and equality between the genders. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
