Bill: Diversity and Multiculturalism Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Libertarian-Socialist Coalition
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2208
Description[?]:
By establishing immigration quotas based on NATIONALITY, we, in effect, create a system of "haves" and "have not's," where people are discriminated against solely on ethnicity. This can be abused to favor one ethnicity over another, which seems like a good way to stifle diversity in our society. We have a different solution: Allow people to come here based solely on their skills and desire for a better future, regardless of where they may hail from. Note that, because we have intense border security checks, removing country of origin as a factor is not a significant security risk. |
