Bill: Treaties Update Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Democrats on the block
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4598
Description[?]:
FMPT treaty WFTA treaty Although fine and noble concepts, we stand alone. Currently , Solentia is the only nation to ratify either of these treaties. These have been around for basically 20 years. While guaranteeing free market to outside interests , we enjoy no protection from the whims of other nation's temporary leaders. We propose NO changes to market policies, but would reserve the right to review our own laws without obligations. Currently for debate only, we welcome the guidance of more experienced legislators. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
