From | Communist Party of Endralon | To | Debating the Further Expansion of Freedom Act | Message | We STRONGLY oppose gambling and prostitution. Gambling is the greatest expression of capitalist mentality, allowing people to gain wealth without working or lose wealth through no fault of their own. As for prostitution, it is often little more than sex slavery. |

From | Unified Communist Labor Party | To | Debating the Further Expansion of Freedom Act | Message | Prostitution is not called "the oldest profession" for no reason. Thus, you have two options: keep it illegal, and have a dangerous, horrible, disease-ridden prostitution industry in your nation--or legalize and regulate it, providing the prostitutes with free contraceptives, disease-testing, medical care and other services and letting them organize. |

From | | To | Debating the Further Expansion of Freedom Act | Message | We will not support this bill unless the obligatory trade unions bill goes through (which it can hardly fail to do at this stage). |

From | | To | Debating the Further Expansion of Freedom Act | Message | We will also oppose this on the basis that prostitution means exploitation of women. Provide a decent income for all and no one would want to work as a prostitute. |

From | | To | Debating the Further Expansion of Freedom Act | Message | We could only really support article one of this. We would be against pornography, which is profit driven erotica. We support the idea that free erotic art is an expression of human activity and therefore valid. |

From | | To | Debating the Further Expansion of Freedom Act | Message | IF, and it does happen, someone wants to work in the porn industry, what's wrong with that? If they're unionised and the industry is properly regulated, we have no problem with it. |

From | | To | Debating the Further Expansion of Freedom Act | Message | Well in case you haven't noticed, we aren't exactly a socialist country!
Even if you're against prostitution, I can't see how you think leaving it unregulated (via being outlawed) will help anyone involved in it viz sexual health, exploitation and violence and possibly drug addiction and any other number of problems arising from illegal prostitution. |

From | Unified Communist Labor Party | To | Debating the Further Expansion of Freedom Act | Message | First off--who says we're socialist right now? Secondly, how do you transform any "profit-driven" industry to a "cooperative" industry when transitioning between capitalism and socialism? Treat prostitution like any other industry--the prostitutes form cooperatives or unions or mutual aid associations, and work together to ensure that all are free and equal and protected. |

From | | To | Debating the Further Expansion of Freedom Act | Message | We agree with the CP on this. We are not against erotic art, but we are against the profit driven exploitation of human sexuality. |

Random fact: Players are expected to behave in a courteous, co-operative manner and make a reasonable effort to act with the consent of all players involved, even where the rules do not make consent strictly necessary. In particular, players have a responsibility to take reasonable care that other players are not misinformed either about the role-play or the Game Rules. |
Random quote: "Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are like us." Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are not like us." Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction." - Charles R.
