Bill: Proposal from Malivia

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Democrats on the block

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4604

Description[?]:

The democratic republic had previously approached us for our support of international human rights conventions.
It's a very extensive treaty, yet it really covers sane, basic morals we maybe take for granted in wonderful Solentia.

Their request pre-dates our service in the Foreign Ministry.

Have the other cabinet members had a chance to consider this ?

Had our previous Ministers already responded to this official message ?

We believe we were approached as a nation, let's decide as one .....

MessageNo they haven't I chose you a while ago. I only asked party's who had a secular and progressive outlook.

On another note, I would love to ratify your Human Rights Treaty, but it has 17 articles a record in Particracy. It is very restrictive, and although I would love to present it to the Federal Council I can't even find what I am not in compliance with. I you could draft a less restrictive treaty I would be glad to sign it.

MessageThank you.

We felt it was our duty to have it (discussed), but not immediately proposed in a bill as we were requested.

Although we could push this through with 2/3 , let's await comment from the Military Nationalists. They hold the majority of our seats, and our citizens.

MessageI personally have yet to sort through all of our existing treaties. Let alone the 17 Article ones. My office is in the process of examining our current and previous positions. We will give this our attention.
