Bill: Foreign Aid Programs
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Centrist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2066
Description[?]:
The LFP believes in aiding struggling countries so that they might find stability. However, we should not do this to any extent that we damage ourselves. To this end, we propose a moderate foreign aid program that will request trading rights in return for aid. Through this system, both countries involved will be improved. |

Proposal[?] to change Government policy towards giving aid to foreign countries.
Old value:: The government never offers international aid.
Current: The government gives moderate aid to countries in need.

Message | Its better than what we have at the moment, so i will support. I know that if i suggested even moderate free aid our current budget would be strained. I can't wait to see the economy. |

Message | Tied aid makes sense on many levels, however, it is susceptible to corruption. The good points outweigh the bad, hence our support for this kind of policy. And as long as we have a transparent government, there shouldn't be corruption problems. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
