Bill: Positive Discrimination Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ducal Delegation
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2208
Description[?]:
Some companies would like to adopt a policy of setting quotas for employing people from marginalised groups in order to combat prejudice and establish a more socially diverse workforce with a tolerant work ethic. Why on earth should the government outlaw them from doing this? Why should a company be banned from, say, aiming to employ a certain percentage of disabled people on its staff?
