Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 4617

OOC: please support, I'm going to be away for the next ca. 30 hours during and after next the election, therefore I wouldn't be able to participate in coalitions or negotiations. I will propose a term shortening after I arrive.

MessageOOC: We will not support this, because it doesn't have a valid RP justification or a compelling OOC reason (we can't all be here at all times, which is understandable, but that doesn't allow us to delay the game). I will propose a possible solution over Discord, however.

RP: Solidarität has, in the past, rejected term lengthening when the opposition held control over the government. Now that we hold the Presidency, we believe it would be unjust and hypocritical to extend terms.

Random fact: The majority of nations in Particracy are "Culturally Protected" with an established cultural background. Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation.
