Message | Members of the Assembly, After mulling over this proposal and thinking long and hard about the idea of the two state religions, we must vote no. Whilst many within our ranks have religious-leanings we do not believe the current figures justify the TP church and Israism being singled out and granted such status. However, it is our hope that policies we intend to introduce during this legislative term and beyond will encourage more people to turn to religion and see the virtues in faith, and therefore this policy proposal should be reviewed in the future. Prince Aldrkai Banmek-Sntazed-Zhtál Prefect of Vanuku |

Message | Honoured colleagues, The statement made by the Prefect is shameful, a true disgrace. Our proposal as stated has been the legislation for centuries, until the communists undid the religious balance. Postponing these measures and "waiting" will only cause strife and unbalance. Prince Kezkai Banmek-Sntazed Parliamentary Leader of the BSP |
