Message | Mr. Speaker, The President spoke of his plans in the budget meeting last month before today. These aren’t the only budget increases to come; there will be more like increase in healthcare spending and education and environment, however, the President and the NCC would like to focus on the three ministries this year. The increases are as followed: 1. Head of Government -Increase in staff -Pest control -Former President’s and Prime Minister’s budget 2. Foreign Affairs -Restructuring of Mordusian embassies in foreign nations -Increase in embassy and consulate security as well as ambassadors’ security -Economic and development assistance -International medical research -International Aids/HIV research -National Assembly foreign flights 3. Defence -Cyberstrategy and expansion of artificial intelligence -Raising of naval sea bases due to rising water or “climate change” -Overseas contingency operations |

Message | Mr Speaker, Can we seek assurance that the proposed budget increases are to be funding from an increase in revenue due to the status of the economy and existing tax legislation and will not be funding through an increase in current taxes or the introduction in new taxes? If we are reaping the benefits of a strong economy then the Mordusian Centrist Party are fully behind reinvesting this money into Mordusia! Isaac Demontford Leader of the Mordusian Centrist Party |
