Message | Mr. Speaker, We, the National Party of Lodamun, present this pro-civil liberties bill to the Presidium. Perhaps we were too fast in advancing a transition to our ideal system of "socialism with Lodamese characteristics". To reassure the Presidium of our noble, democratic, and anti-extremist intentions we put forward this bill. We also call on the Opposition to support also our economic reform bills, so that a system of workplace democracy may also take hold. Mr Speaker, we therefore call on the Opposition also to constructively oppose the government, rather than the extreme-opposition that may lead to violence and anti-government actions by their radicalizing constitutents. We invite the Opposition, Mr. Speaker, to therefore denounce the extremists on their side also, as we are condemning the extremists on ours. Mr. Speaker, we also offer, in exchange for concessions, the opening of an investigation into governmental corruption, the right-wing extremism, and anti-democratic propaganda being spread. Mr. Speaker, we state that our intention is not fascism. - Deputy Paul de Golavia, coalition Minister for Justice |
