Message | This legislation is an assault on the rights of everyday Dorvish people! First, this bill would make blasphemy a crime - a clear violation of the right to free speech, and yet the plurality government insists upon supporting this bad proposal. Second, the bill gives certain organizations special tax status to pay their preachers major salaries, all without contributing to the state. This is unfair: even as millions of Dorvish people pay tax, the church elites won't have to. Third, this will open the door for the indoctrination of our youth into a religion, based on the simple decision of a headmaster. And finally, certain so-called "cults" will be persecuted! Persecution has no place in a free, open, fair, and tolerant society. Solidarität heartily opposes this terribly crafted bill, and in the strongest terms possible condemns the abuse of power by the minority government: Because that is what they are, a government that does not command the full majority of the will of the people. This will be a top priority for us: seeking its reversal following any future election. |

Message | I am suprised that Solidarität is on one hand opposed to indoctrination but refuses to prosecute cults which have proven to indoctrinate their members and make those members do terrible things. This government is dedicated to strong descisive leadership. Dorvik does not need the weak leadership of a Mandel government. Prone to flipflopping and indescisiveness. Our government has apprehended the terrorist Hess, reformed the labour and economic laws of our country to once again elevate dorvish economic interests and is protecting Dorvish culture and traditions. All this combined in 3 years is more then a Solidarität government could do in 10! |
