| We propose the following amendments to the Lodamese constitution: Proposal I: The "Great Democratic Republic of Lodamun" as the formal name of Lodamun is affliated with the Lodamese Nationalist extremist religion of the past, and the authoritarian nationalist regime which thrust it upon the Lodamese population. Therefore we propose declaring the "Second Co-operative Federative Republic of Lodamun". Proposal 2: We propose restoring the national animal to the Elysian King Moray. Proposal 3: We propose that the Second Co-operative Federative Republic shall be officially structured as a democratic, socialist, internationalist republic. Proposal 4: We propose that all citizens shall have the right to freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom to unionize and collective barganing without impediment, the right to a fair and livable wage, the right to healthcare, the right to security in old age, the right to form a political party or organization and to stand for election, the right to freedom of religion, the right to habeas corpus, the right to a fair trial, and the right to share in the collective ownership of the means of production. The government shall be held to guarantee these rights, and if any law is in conflict must alter the present laws to be in line with these within three years of this bill passing. Proposal 5: We propose, in line with the structure of Lodamun being a Parliamentary form of democratic republic, that the legislature be renamed Chamber of Peoples' Deputies. Proposal 6: In line with the proposed founding principles of the Second Co-operative Federative Republic, all provinces shall henceforth be communes and all regional and municipal governments must allow for representation of workers by means of a Parliament of Trade Unions, alongside generally-elected legislatures. Proposal 7: All future cabinets shall have to name a Deputy Prime Minister, who shall temporarily perform the functions of the Prime Minister in case of incapacitation or death. |
