Bill: Mid-Term Cabinet Proposal 4622

Details

Submitted by[?]: Zhtál-Merlkai Tjarziprta

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 4623

Description[?]:

Members of the Grand Council,

After consultation with the House of Banmek-Steuart-Vrnhmel, we are now ready to propose a new coalition cabinet.

The H B-S V will be offered several cabinet positions. Chief among these will be Minister of Internal Affairs which has been offered directly to Prince Wrnhelm. In addition, given his experience in national security and intelligence, Prince Wrnhelm is also offered the role of Director of the State Security Agency and thus a role on the National Security Council

His party will also be offered the Minister of Defence role, with the current minister, General Karatak Merlékam-Zhtál, leaving that post to take up the role of Chief of the Royal Armed Forces Staff.

The New Minister and General Merlékam-Zhtál will co-ordinate their efforts to carry out a modernising programme for our existing armed forces and to look at new equipment, training methods and doctrines to maintain our position at the head of the game.

Prince Aldrkai Banmek-Sntazed-Zhtál
Prefect of Vanuku

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.
