Message | Mr speaker, This proposal is of a potentially genuine threat to national security if passed by the house. The current law on the matter offers equal integrity and transparency to the people whilst also maintaining our nation security is not hindered or comprimised by the release of classified files. Therefore we believe such a proposal is counter intuitive and lacks common sense. I do hope that other parties agree such an act would be foolish to pass, and would encourage them to reject this bill! Andrew Newland General Secretary of the NWP |
