Description[?]:
A productive and healthy population is an educated one. We have a wide-spread public education system, which is fully funded by the government. There are many of these students who will desire a post-secondary education. In order to assist them, the government shall offer partial funding of post-secondary tuition costs. The students will have to pay the remainder either through their and/or their parent's funds, and/or a loan. Scholarships are included in the subsidization of post-secondary education. From the education budget, the government shall fund 30% of the total cost of post-secondary educations. The government shall also provide a low-interest rate student plan for those needing a loan. The rate of the loan shall be, upon the completion or termination of schooling, 9%/A. |

Message | That's why a progressive tax system works. You can tax more people, but they still aren't taxed to the point that we drive them deeper into poverty. They pay in their means and are left with enough to live at the basic level. |

Message | its the same as the flat tax system we have in place right now.. Its not how much you tax but how you spend that is key...wasteful spending of the sort that we have allowed means that the govt will never have enough money no matter how much you tax |

Message | The numbers are for another act. It's important to establish a government role first hand. The numbers can be crunched later. By voting against this you have clearly stated that you have no heart or consideration for the future of this nation. |

Message | Actually I'm suggesting you put the horse before the cart...when we haven't outlined any funding for basic education, how do you propose we put up funding for college? When you don't get funds for poor kids in primary schools...how do expect them to make it to high school or college? Faced with those odds...only the children of the wealthy could make it so far. So what this bill is doing is using the money of the wealthy to subsidize ..well, the wealthy!! Pardon me, but I don't quite see the logic of that ...Do you? I already warned you against turning this into a personal thing. You maybe attached to socialism and big govt, but there is no reason we cannot get along. Please refrain from making childish remarks in the future.. |

Message | Sadly, this is a personal thing. Normally, fiscal arguments are highly effective on me, but we support anything to promote education for everyone. |
