Submitted by[?]: Deltarian Nationalist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2209
Description[?]:
We need to ensure that the youth of today will be useful to society. The perfect way for this to happen is to raise all children in state institutions. This will mean that the children will recieve extra tuition during the week as the school day will be extended an extra two hours but homework abolished. As the will not have any religious influences of their parents the children will be taught on all religions each day and will still have interaction with religious ministers during break times in their teaching and also after their teaching hours. At weekends they will be put to practical use by labouring on state projects (They will have the same rights as adult workers but their wages will be put into a trust account which they will not recieve anything from until they are 18). This act will drastically cut any youth crime and will give all children an equal education, life and will give them all a grounding in practical employment. |
