Message | Two issues exist here. The need for continuity and the need for democracy. For continuity, we suggest option C. For democracy, obviously option d. The DLP however has no objection to the largest party being the representative, and consider this the simplest option. |

Message | DLP, why do you keep semi-flip-flopping? Instead of just proposing a bill, you have to ask everyone their opinions. I like C. That is also how the Supreme court is set up in The US. |

Message | We are for option D. This provides different parties the opportunity to serve as TOA Representative. |

Message | In response to the Conservative Party: this is because this is just an administrative bill really, it doesn't really surround any issue. And the point of debate is to find out what the other parties are thinking, and debate the merits/problems of the bills. Eight years is fine, if we keep changing representatives they're going to get annoyed with us. This bill can stay in debate stage as long as necessary, Conservative Party, until a consensus is reached. The DLP itself has no particular preference. |

Message | Is this your first account here, DLP? You sound very experienced. A debate about who should be "it" would pretty intense; especially seeing how you acted with the cabinet proposal. |

Message | Well possibly... depending on who wants to be the representative. For future reference, the DLP is does not mind which party sends a representative to the TOA, so long as that party lobbies well and effectively for the Free Republic of Jelbania. The DLP believes that if we are all agreed on the method of choosing the candidate, their shouldn't be too much controversy around the actual choice of the candidate. OOC: Yeah, this is my first account. |

Message | We support the DLP as TOA Representative. Since they proposed this bill, they deserve the first appointment. |

Message | Sorry, this has been left for too long in debate. I'll put it to the vote, if we are all agreed? |

Message | The GMP understands the Citizens Party's belief in an approach as mentioned in D. However, we also share the concerns of the Conservative Party over the frequency of elections towards the position. Therefore, we feel that A. is the most logical answer, though we would like to suggest an amendment that the position is granted to the party concurrently responsible for either Foreign Affairs or Trade & Industry |

Message | The DLP is in agreement. How about, the party holding HoS, Prime Minister or Foreign Minister is the delegate, if these are held by separate parties, the HoS chooses? |

Message | is this going to be voted on or dropped? (the gmp likes a minimalist approach to our country's main page) |

Message | (ooc) How does the game currently handle treaties and whatnot? Does it affect your popularity or visibility at all? |

Message | The CBP doesn't mind who assumes the mantle and due to the lack of interest here, we wouldn't exactly be prime candidates. |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
