MessageIn joint analysis and investigations, the Oversight and Reform and Foreign Affairs Committees have evaluated and assessed the current treaties that bind our internal legislation. We discovered that many of the treaties we are proposing to withdraw from are unnecessary because our nation is already in compliance with the rules established in them and/or because we are the only ratifying nations.

The Committees also held joint hearings with President Julian Nguyen, Secretary of Finance Jimmy Paine and Secretary of Trade Maria Gomez to better evaluate this situation. The Finance Committee was also invited to participate in those hearings.

After a long assessment, the Foreign Affairs Committee presented to the Oversight and Reform Committee, on request, a recommendation to withdraw from said treaties. The Oversight and Reform Committee voted and it was decided to move this bill to the entire floor's consideration.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
