MessageAgainst, there is no need for further increasing seats number. However wat we need is more direct democrac and not more representants!

Messagemore representatives means a greater check on executive power, reducing their ability to centralise.

MessageHow exactly?

Absolute number is uninteresting and unimportant. What is important is the relative power of each party in percentage.

MessageGiven that there are now 2 more parties, this will allow a more accurate representation. For example a party with 30.5% of the vote may get more seats than 30.5% under our current system. Since we now have 10 parties rather than 8, it would make sense to increase the number of seats so that they will be divided fairly among the parties. I could have proposed an increase to 700 but that would have been inaccurate too. 500 is the optimum number.

MessageIt seems to me that either you people don't understand the theory of politics or you are just uanble to catch the fact that absolute number is unimportant.

30% is always 30%, whether it's 50 or 300. However when 30% = 300 I know this country is fucking spending money of its citizens and that is clearly inacceptable.

Direct democracy not over-representation!

MessageI wanted to say WASTING money, not spending. That is exactly a waste of money. Throwing them to mouths of lazy representatives.

MessageThe fact that you resort to swearing highlights the weakness of your argument. If you object to this so much, why not remove representation all together. 30% will not = 300, and the extra 100 seats will ensure a greater accuracy in allocation of seats, ensuring that every vote counts, a principle underpinning democracy.

MessageIt's a poor argument LP- the crux of the matter is representation.

MessageYes, if you werew to have, say, five seats, they would be one per region, and hardly anybody's views get through. If there are 500, it means there are small constituencies so more views can be conveyed.
