This act proposes to loosen restrictions on foreign investment, opening our country up to more investment opportunities from abroad. Secondly, this act will eliminate subsidies for failing businesses, allowing companies to rise and fall in accordance with market demand — fostering a more competitive business environment. The government will still be able to make corrections for market failures in industries that are essential or vital to the functioning of the country. |
