| We firmly believe that the federal government SHOULD NOT interfere with the lives of women and their pregnancies. Instead, we believe that the right to an abortion should be handled by local governments. It is time we roll back the “all knowing” federal government when it comes to reproductive rights! |

Current: Abortion is allowed during the entire course of the pregnancy.
Proposed: Abortions are only allowed in medical emergencies.

| Message | Baltusian Communist Party: While we in the federalist party believe that abortion is acceptable under some circumstances, what you are proposing does not effectively change anything for all women under the law. It is just transferring control from the federal government into local jurisdictions, some women's lives might be effected and abortion laws changed and some might not. If we do make a change to the current abortion laws, I believe it should be at the federal level that way it is fair for women throughout the entire country and not just in local jurisdictions. Therefore, the federalist party will be voting no on this bill. -Federalist Party |
